We woke up to a beautiful Boland morning – which is our new home, yay! – for our first time shooting at Babylonstoren! A venue truly like no other! “Babylonstoren is a Cape Dutch farm with vineyards and orchards surrounded by the dramatic mountains of the Drakenstein Valley. It has an exceptionally well–preserved werf dating from 1690.” Need we say more? No wonder this lovely couple chose this place to tie the knot. They came all the way from Amsterdam to make their vows in front of friends and family. We were so amped when Greg & Janine’s special day arrived, and to capture the fellowship and awesome vibe between friends and family was so fun. The small intimate ceremony took place under the trees, and their kids, Neave and Liam stood by them through it. You’ll just fall in love with these two beautiful kids. How cute are they? Janine arrived at the ceremony on a bicycle, in true Amsterdam style!
Have a look at the insane decor! The plants and flowers which Babylonstoren put together is just too cool. This goes for Janine’s bouquet as well – we can’t even begin to name all the plants used to create it!
Greg & Janine, we had such a fantastic day with you! Every single person at your wedding was so warm-hearted and friendly, and everything absolutely stunning. Thank you for your fun spirits and all the great laughs!
Enjoy your pictures and hope to see you guys in Amsterdam soon!
Thanks to our fantastic assistant and shooter, Ilse de Klerk (50 mills, haha) for all your hard work on this day!
